Remember, part of Fall River WAS Tiverton, RI at one time. Fascinating reading!

This is really cool.  Thanks!

Here is our Mr. George Fish, a step-uncle-by-marriage, of which we know not much!

Kat,

The middle initial is giving me trouble here. In one newspaper account, (the one he accuses John Morse and Lizzie of conspiring) it is George B., then the mourners list him as George H., and this is George W.! We need to nail this one down. This is one way they all avoided being connected to the case. Just change your name a smidge and you can say "no relation"!

as my Mother used to say "there's more than one fish in the sea"
I think it was definitely George H.

Yes, that might be a mistake.  i was going by the Gray family name.
But Abby and Priscilla's mother's name was Sarah Sawyer Gray and she died in 1860.
Priscilla's husband was a George H. Fish (Rebello23), and there is a Sarah Gray connection here.  Is that a coincidence?

Don't know, Kat, but with an Anthony lot thrown in I think it is worth finding out if I can.

Hi Grandpa "Joe",
It has been years since I had an offer like that!
Seriously, I'd love to correspond but through the forum e-mail if you don't mind. Genealogy and census records is right up my ally. Can you help with this "George ? Fish" problem?

I guess you click on that middle icon:  the piece of paper which looks like a letter with a red arrow poiting at it.
