A rather curious little painting of our Lizzie as a child with hatchet in hand for sale on eBay.  The hatchet in hand looks like a smaller version of the axes used to behead people.

I like it.  It reminds me partly of those speed racer models where you paint the flames.  Not that she's in hell- more like she is going fast.
The fact that she's *cute* and is wearing an apron- maybe this is really 'lil Bridget!

Ya' know, this just made me wonder if Lizzie ever did sit and have a portrait done of her during her years at Maplecroft?  It was something that the wealthy did on a fairly regular basis, why not Lizzie too?  Now that would be something to see!
