This one was in San Francisco last August 4, based on Angela Carter's "The Fall River Axe Murders"

Thanks Har!
That's another cool story you've tracked down.
“ 'It’s a fun story … because Borden is somewhat of a monster,”'said Freed. She alluded to a famous Borden photograph that makes the spinster look detached from reality and possibly psychotic. Freed’s intent with Fall River Axe Murders is to “get behind the blankness in Lizzie’s eyes” and give the audience a sense of Borden’s mental state and potential for violence."
--I wonder which famous photo shows Lizzie's "detachment".

I was aware this was happening - I hope the production was better than that photo (that's a fresh-from-Pergament hatchet the sctress is holding).
She looks more like Aileen Wuornos, actually!
