1. ""Villisca, Iowa axe murders, Lizzie and Uncle John""

I just found your site and noted that there were some inquiries about the 1912 Villisca axe murders. My husband and I will finish our 10-year documentary project "VILLISCA: Living with a Mystery" this fall and it will then go into distribution. We interviewed a number of people in Fall River in June of 1994--Michael Martin (Fall River Historical Society), Ed Thibault, Ken Souza and others--regarding the Lizzie Borden case and were interested in the social impact of the respective crimes on the two individual communities. We shot film footage in the cemetery, at the Fall River Historical Society, and the exterior of the murder house (before it became a B&B), as well as Uncle John Morse's gravesite in Iowa.
Our website www.villisca.com has been updated with the documentary poster, and the UPDATES section of the site now includes a "teaser" of the film which can be viewed.
Just thought I would pass this along. We enjoyed our visit to Fall River and have formed fond friendships with several of its citizens. The Borden case NEVER fails to fascinate!

Welcome! I've always LOVED your site! We have talked about
it here before -- last year, I think. That story just give
me chills, Lizzie Borden doesn't give me chills though.
Welcome and thank you for the web site on the Villisca murders. I look forward to browsing the files and photos.
Thank you for your kind words about our website. It has been fun to put together. You will find some Lizzie location photos in THE FILM: FILMMAKERS section of our site. We are really enjoying this Lizzie website too, and look forward to visiting often.
Thanks for the Welcome! We have just skimmed the surface of this website now that we are aware of it and look forward to digging deeper.
Hi Tammy and Kelly, welcome to the forum! Great site you have there, got lost in it for a few hours. Looking forward to your posts.
Thanks, Susan! Have you been to the Borden House of late? We haven't been there since it has been turned into a B&B. Just wondering what your impressions are.
Me? No, I've never been to the Borden house ever, would love to go one of these days.
Are we still the only ones that haven't been?
Welcome to LAB!
I have viewed your movies on your site and they are fantastic.
Will you be selling video tapes eventually?
Good luck with your sales!
Have you contacted ENZIAN THEATER, Winter Park, Florida?

I have not been to the Borden House either, Kimberly. I've been phoned from there tho, twice.
I think it might be easier to count those who have been than those who haven't.
