While watching one of my favorite programs this weekend I began to wonder....

What would Lizzie Do if Hildi Santos-Thomas showed up and glued hay on the walls of Maplecroft?

I've seen that one!  Is that the ugliest room you ever saw?  There's another one that I have not seen (but am dying to), where Hildi glues feathers all over the wall. I think she thinks she can posture around acting chic in her black catsuits and nobody will question what she does!  I've disliked some of the other rooms, but the other designers (except Doug) do seem to take the homeowners' lives and tastes into account.  Those two seem to think they're there to enlighten the poor rubes.  Once Hildi did a concrete floor in a living room for a couple with a toddler. Duhhhh.

Okay, let's picture the reveal.

Paige: You can open your eyes now, Lizzie.  Well?  What do you think?
We thought it might remind you of your hayloft.

Lizzie:  Yes, I suppose I could put some new pigeons in here.

Paige: Oh, Lizzie, there's that whimsical sense of humor Frank was telling me about.  Well, here come your neighbors, the Lincolns.  I know you'll want to thank them for all their hard work.  Even little Victoria got into the act and did the bottom part of the wall. Shall we pour the champagne?

Lizzie: Yes. I'll get the glasses.

[All toast each other.]

Paige:  That's it for today, but we'll see you next week on Trading Spaces. I'm Paige Daaaaviiii----AAAGGGHHHH

[Lincoln family joins in with strangled chorus and collapse. Lizzie raises her glass to the camera and giggles?]

(I haven't seen the show but I've heard of it and seen coming attractions...)

Poor Victoria- now she'll never write that book...
