I'm doing research on victorian New England, and also New England in the early 1920's.  If anyone has any movies or books to recommend to me that would give me cues as to language, clothes, attitudes, i would be very grateful.  I'm writing a screenplay, if that helps narrow the request.  I can be contacted at jason@giganticpictures.com

Thanks so much.

Hi Jason!

From the Bibliography at LizzieAndrewBordenVirtualMuseum/Library:

--These books, called Victorian Vistas are about Fall River area but that was an important area of the era.  They have numerous photo's from different collections and newspaper articles all about the life and times of the era spanning each tome.
(Baseball & bike riding look to be popular sporting activities...)

I think you can get these from your local Library, through an "Interlibrary Loan".  News articles are a good source for a plot, so it may seem.  Don't know if you have a plot yet.

Where are you from?  You can try your local Historical Society if you are already in New England.  Some of them are extremely helpful, even over the phone!
