Ok, I've decided. Lizzie didn't kill Abby, Andrew did (snuck back after picking up that broken lock down street), and then when Lizzie found out about it, she told Morse and he killed Andrew and told his niece to lie about his being at her house during the time of the murders. Then he snuck around back and waited for the cops to arrive and mosied in and acted like nothing happened.

You are right Ray. I have been rather flippant as of late. I have been infected with Kathleen's sense of humor and can't for the life of me shake it. I will strive to be more scholarly in my posts.

What motive would Andrew have had to kill Abby though? I mean they were a very disturbed family...but it would take alot of hatred and anger to wack someone in the head, you know?

A stroke? Dementia? Senility? Causing irrational paranoidal fears & anxiety...Maybe that's why HE had to die, also.

Maybe the idea of dementia or senility isn't far off. Some say Andy picked up a busted lock. If he gave this to his secret visitor (as a joke) it might have backfired on him, even w/o dead Abby.

After I posted that, I began to wonder about which of these they might have been able to find at autopsy, and realized : none of them! Because of the extensive head/facial damage.
