This site discusses Swansea as it is today and mentions the Borden summer home at 1205 Gardner's Neck Road.

This site mentions that in the 1890's trolley cars first connected Swansea to Fall River.  It must have been a long ride by trolley.
I think that would be beneath Lizzie's dignity.
