This site has an article on Hosea Knowlton's home during the trial:

Good grief, it says that Geraldo Rivera has a place there.

Thanks for posting this link, Harry. This is the house I mentioned previously. I forgot to ask Len about it. I hope he'll check it out, busy schedule permitting.

Now that I see what it looks like, I'm thinkin' I would like to own the place! Hey, if I had Lizzie's millions, maybe I could

But that would take a miracle from Jeeeeeezuuuuuuuuzzz himself.

Ah, come on Dave, it's only $389,000.

In Lizzie's money - $21,610.

Hell, I couldn't afford it in Lizzie's money!

Another interesting post, Harry! I think I read somewhere recently that this house is now a faculty home for Tabor Academy. I don't remember where I may have seen this, however.

I discovered where I read the information about Hosea Knowlton's house in Marion, MA. It was in a Knowlton family genealogy website. The information was dated 1996 which is two years before the "Home of the week" article, so the house may no longer be a faculty house for Tabor Academy. The contributor of the genealogy website information was a Knowlton descendant who also stated that Hosea Knowlton died of a stroke in the house in Marion on December 18, 1902.

Thanks for the info Doug.

Marion is about 10 road miles (estimate)from New Bedford. Does anyone know whether Marion was connected by rail?  We know the train ran at least as far as Fairhaven.

Lizzie was supposed to go to Marion and I was just wondering how she would have gotten there.
