I'm almost finished a re-reading of Victoria Lincoln's book -- my first chance to read it since we made the pilgrimage to Lizzie's house last summer.  It seems to me that Lincoln makes a pretty compelling argument regarding motive: the disposition of the Swansea property.  While I'm a little skeptical about the epileptic fit part of it, Lincoln has a pretty handy answer for many of the case's troubling details.  What say you, Lizzie experts?  Does Lincoln's version make sense, or are there holes in it that I've missed?

I read this book about 5 years ago, don't remember much.
Its fault was inventing a disease that never occurred before 8/4 or afterwards. Compares unfavorably to other works.

Oh jeepers, Ray. Yr right about the epileptic fit. But it is a memorable read and one of the better, more entertaining Lizzie books.

Victoria Lincoln was also a novelist, but "A Private Disgrace" is not a novel. Lincoln thought it was Lizzie, Radin thought Bridget had a hand in the murders. Lincoln is persuasive and has a good style. But there are some errors.

I think Ray's computer charges him by the word...
