This is a weird one: Lizzie's ice pick! Ad says it was found in Maplecroft during renovations in 1995. Well, didn't  lots of people own that house since Lizzie? Oh, well, happy bidding!

"Up for auction this week is a Gilcrest Ice Pick that was found at The Lizzie Borden Museum in Fall River, Ma. It was found during the renovation of the house in 1995. The museum is the location where the murders took place, on Second St. in Fall River. This ice pick comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed and dated by the President and Curator, George E. Quigley. He is also a noted authority, educator, author and lecturer."

And this: a book from a room she stayed in (supposedly): (the cool thing is the almanac is from 1892)

"Up for auction this week is an 1892 edition of "The Old Farmer's Almanac" that was acquired from Harold Hudner who lived in the former duplex farmhouse from 1947 until 1995 on Gardener's Neck Road In Swansea, Massachusetts. The House was built in 1790.

Andrew J. Borden purchased the farm with William M. Almy in the 1880's from the Gardner family. Lizzie and Emma Borden inheritied the farm in 1892 and Lizzie continued to visit there until her death in 1927.

Mr. Hudner found the Almanac in the upstairs bedroom used by Lizzie and Emma during their stays at the farm.

The Farmer's Almanac comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed and dated by the President and Curator, George E. Quigley. He is also a noted authority, educator, author and lecturer."

This stuff doesn't make sense to me.
"This is an AUTHENTIC Ice Pick, folks!  Yea, that's the ticket...found under the stove when it was finally dusted behind in 1995--dropped by Marcus Townsend's housekeeper in 1919-yea, I was there! That's the ticket.  Only $999 on sale!"
