Carol: I know u know about astrology and
all that sort of thing, so I'd like to share something
with ya. I've never been a reader of horoscopes, but my
parents are up visiting and they showed me a horoscope
for Aquarius, which I am. Anyways, it has me to a T. I
was really, really quite taken aback.
Here is what it says:
Aquarius, the 11th sign of the zodiac, is a fixed air
sign, and natives of this sign tend to possess both the
friendly, engaging, sociable qualities of an air sign
as well as the stubbornness and obstinance of a fixed
sign. This often makes them original and entertaining
individuals who have their own ways of thinking and doing
things and are usually very reluctant to change their
attitude, approach or behavior in order to conform. Aquarians
will powerfully resist things they dont want to do. You
have to accept the fact that u can never really make an
Aquarian do anything. This is why Aquarians are commonly
known as the most rebellious sign of the zodiac.
Aquarians often like to shock people and can enjoy stirring
up a little trouble now and again. Find whatever direction
the current is going in, and you'll generally find Aquarians
heading in the other direction. This can sometimes put
them a bit out of step with social norms. But some smart,
forward-looking Aquarians are able to benefit from their
unique and unorthodox perspectives by putting themselves
way out in front of the coming trends and riding the waves
of social change before they hit most people's shores.
Aquarians also tend to possess a somewhat unusual sense
of humor, and are also easily prone to laughter and high
jinks.

Hi Dave: I didn't see this post till just
now. I don't float around to all the sites like I should.
What you posted was an general interpretation for an Aquarius
sun sign, there aren't any horoscopes for the sign Aquarius
because horoscopes are drawn for an individual, date,
time and place. But it's a good sun-sign interpretation
I think explaining the characteristics of the sign.
If you are really interested in astrology why not have
your own chart done. The best psychological astrologer
is probably Liz Greene who has a school of astrology in
London. She used to offer individual charts done
from the psychological perspective for I think it was
$35 each or so, you send in for them.
I have had my chart done by several people over the years
(having the advantage of knowing something about the subject
it is always interesting to note what they say and how
they say it as a matter of protection). Some of them were
really bad. You have to be careful many people do
charts and are unreliable or say things they think are
beneficial and accurate when they are not.
It is interesting in the paragraph you quote how much
I see that the author has used the characteristics of
Uranus to write up their commentary. Uranus is Aquarius'
ruling planet, i.e., non-conforming, original, rebellious,
shock, stirring up trouble, forward-looking, unique, unorthodox,
likes change and high jinks. Whereever Uranus is,
which house, in your own personal chart is where it has
been said that an "earthquake runs through it."
This paragraph you quote as you probably know refers only
to the sun sign, but as this is our basic ego/character
identification, it isn't strange that you should relate
to it. I'm a Sagittarius and find many of the things
said in general of my sign to relate to me too.
But astrology isn't a game and if anyone tries to put
anyone down because of this sign or that, then don't believe
it. Everything is interrelated.
Anyway, just some thoughts. Long live Acquarius.

Carol, thanks very much for enlightening
me. It was something my dad printed out on his computer
and showed me when they were up visiting, so I just copied
it onto here. Ya, I think a lot of these characteristics
are inter-related.
Did u know Jim Morrison was a Saggitarius? The most philosophical
of all the signs, I'm told. He was a perdy philosophical
feller
My dad and I are both Aquarius. Yup, my birthday's coming
up. Dont forget to send me a card, people, or I'll know
what u think o' me LOL!!!!!!
Spine-crushing hugs & wet sloppy kisses,
