I read somewhere that all those who fasinate themselves with Bordenism are prone to white cake (yellow as a back-up) with chocolate or better yet fudge frosting....I think its just a theory though...BC

Yo Tina...congrats on the publication...is this your first book?  How long did it take to write it?  I am, like so many others, a furstrated writer I have subcribed to the Writers Digest Mag and I recently recieved a letter of opportunity from the same company as your website, Xlibris, offering a chance to send a manuscript for review.  Are they easy to deal with?  Any pointers would be greatly appreciated...Best Wishes on your book...BC

Hi, Bob.  The key to dealing with Xlibris is patience.  If I had to do it over, I would check around & look at as many of those net based publishers as I could.  Shop around.  Be forwarned, YOU do 99% of the work & they take their time processing it.  I've done 2 books thru them now (the other for my father) & hesitate to say I'd do a 3rd.  I basically used them as a stepping stone to bigger & better things.

"Paradox" took perhaps 4 yrs from blank page to finished product, 8 months in production, 3+ yrs of researching, writing, editing, proofing, etc etc.  However, I LOVED every minute of it!  It's a very entertaining tale.  I used the age old advice of, "Write the kind of book you yourself would love to read".  One of my motivators was the fact I wasn't finding fiction that was REALLY entertaining me.  I kept getting disappointed by authors who had great ideas, but they never seemed to follow thru with what the book jacket promised.  I HOPE my book DOES.

Power to you for looking toward your dreams.  Do what you love, & you can never go wrong!  Best wishes, T.

T: thanks a million times itself...I have toyed with the "I am goin' write book" mentality for several years and I really think I need to start on it.  Thanks again for the insight and inspriation...BC
