I spent a few hours looking up Parker Borden's connection to Lizzie and Emma Borden, for this Portland reporter, in May or June...

Here is the story she was working on:

It was claimed this B&B was once visited by the Borden girls and Ms. Raplee wanted to know of their connection.
Here is the info I compiled and sent to her.  It was then proven independently that the connection was too distant.  This is one reporter who triple-checked her information!

"RICHARD BORDEN (No. 1) came from England about 1635, and went to Rhode Island early in the spring of 1638 [his wife's name was JOAN]...JOHN BORDEN (No. 5) stands pre-eminent among the sons of Richard and Joan Borden.  His descendents greatly outnumber those of his brothers who settled in New England...we must regard him as the common ancestor of a very large portion of the living Bordens in America.  This John Borden was extensively known among the FRIENDS at a distance as John Borden, of Quaker Hill, Portsmouth, R.I...."

Going backwards from ANDREW BORDEN (No. 218) [father of Lizzie Borden] to arrive at JOHN (5):

ANDREW'S father was ABRAHAM (No. 208)
ABRAHAM'S father was RICHARD (No. 120)
RICHARD'S father was RICHARD (No. 114)
RICHARD'S (114) father was THOMAS (No. 103)
THOMAS' father was RICHARD (No. 95) who is BROTHER of JOSEPH (No. 97)

These 2 brothers, RICHARD (95) & JOSEPH (97) are sons of the JOHN BORDEN (No. 5) mentioned above.

This is where the tree-split begins...Andrew Borden being descendent from RICHARD (95) and 2 different PARKER'S descendent from the brother JOSEPH (97).

JOSEPH'S (97) son was WILLIAM (No. 448)
"WILLIAM BORDEN (448) lived in the vicinity of Fall River, and brought up a numerous family.  His descendents are now widely scattered, and many of them are inaccessible and unknown to their own relatives.  Those already found number between 300 and 400.  Probably the whole number, could they be ascertained, would reach at this date (1876) nearly or quite a thousand persons."        ...[12 children listed as Fifth Generation under WILLIAM--2 are listed below...kk]

WILLIAM'S (448) son's are JOSEPH (No.674) and PARKER (No. 680), born c. 1746, m. LUSANNAH JENNINGS, Feb. 19, 1769.

JOSEPH'S (674) son is also PARKER (No. 689), b. June 15, 1764, m. (1) SUSANNAH BORDEN, Nov. 22, 1792, (2) DOLLY CHURCH, & (3) ELIZA DIAMOND, 1835.
[This PARKER (689) is of the Sixth Generation.]*

[*ANDREW BORDEN is Eighth Generation of the other line--kk]
