This may explain our confusion over the interview Mary Rice Livermore did with Lizzie.

"Amy Robsart was the pen name of a woman known as Mrs. Worswick.  Robsart represented the Boston Post at the Borden trial, which she covered with Post staff artist Norman Ritchie.  She also wrote an interview of Lizzie Borden that Lizzie had given to her friend and supporter Mary Ashton Livermore, who in turn gave the information to Robsart for publication."
