Wow! This site has lots of Columbian Exposition stuff! I previewed an auction several months ago at which a souvenir book of the Exposition was featured. I don't think there's ever been a world's fair to rival that one. It was incredible! Lizzie attended in 1893 (something precluded her earlier attendance; I forget what). I don't need to begin collecting anythng new, as I can barely house what I have, but this is certainly a wonderful area for a collector. Thanks!

I immediately thought of you because this thing still has the original and "complete assortment of the best elliptic large eyed needles, bonnet, shawl, toilet pins, etc." from 1893. I thought you could use them for the outfits you wear for your Victorian period parties and dances. Oooh la la!
