Does anyone know where I can get a modern day street map of Fall River?  I'm going at Easter-time and need one.
Thanks!

I searched the web and found this site:

I have no idea of the quality of the maps. They do show you several pictures.  Nice if you could get one that shows the one-way streets.
That always played hell with me when I used a map without that and thought I could go a certain way.

I just got my first modern street map of Fall River plus some brochures free from a Mr. Richard Trieff Tourism Director along with a wonderful cover letter, by requesting one from the website www.fallriverma.org  Their e-mail is tourism@fallriverma.org

Love the big story on Fall Rivers home page-"Mayor Lambert's solid waste address-delivered to the city council" Very evocative...

Do you know where to get hold of a map of Fall River for the 1892 period?  One that a person could buy and laminate themselves that would show both Second St. and French St. within it.

There are a couple books for sale for $275-$300 which contain these old maps but they are too expensive.  Has anyone been able to photocopy an old map from one a book in the Fall River Library or another resource?  The sections put up on the computer by several people are too small and don't show the whole area where a person can see it and read it completely.

Thank you, Carol, Bob Cook & Harry!  What helpful posts!  I ended up going to the "travel warehouse" and got the Fall River/Somerset one.  It was only $6.95 + a little shipping (like a buck and a half).  It's fantastic.  It's laminated, but it folds!  You can write on it and wipe it back off.  Speedy service, too.

I'm sorry, Carol, but I don't know of a source for the 1892 map you're looking for.  I'm sure there's one out there for less.

Thanks, guys!

I bought a small and large version of this 1877 map. It is BEAUTIFUL!!

I can't remember if this is the same seller or not, however. I had mine framed and love love love it.
