Hello dearest Bordenites I must begin with a humble note and beg your understanding for having been away for so long.  My absence was not intentional as many of you familiar with my ramblings know too well. I have been bogged down these many months playing the role of student in the Masters Program at Framingham State College.  This particular academic year is to be the most burdensome of all.

Each of these two semesters I have taken on a full course load, two classroom and one online course.  Coupled with working full-time as a Firefighter and part-time as a Substitute High School Teacher I have had little precious time to devote to my "other" family, that being the many of you whom we affectionately call Bordenites.

I have attempted to spend sometime during these past months reading the many threads that abound in this wonderful forum and saddly I had little time to devote to writing.  There are quite literally thousands of new threads since my last input and somehow or other I shall endeavor to research them all.

In the meantime I have made a "comeback" that I hope will continue without fail though I must admit I may "vanish" from time to time. Know this in any event, I am still out there, er here or wherever.  I have never lost my sense of humor and that too may appear from time to time.  I have missed YOU ALL tremendously and I still get misty eyed with I think of your wonderful kindess given me on my September birthday.

You may have seen my "handle" appearing on Ebay from time to time as I have continued to amass my Lizzie Borden collection.  Though I must share my secret with you, most of the time it is my youngest son Nate who makes the tranactions for me as I have little precious time to dabble personally even in Ebay.

I didn't know whether this was the proper place to put this thread but as I reviewed the forum topics I find that this is the most visited thread and I wanted all my "Borden Family" members to know that I am still here and alive, a little older, a little wiser (yeah right) and definitely a little poorer (financially) but Mr. Bush promised to take care of that (yeah right).

I was prompted to make a serious return to the forum today of all days because just this afternoon I ran into Mr. Len Rebello, yes our Rebello, while my wife and I where shopping at the Dartmouth Mall in Dartmouth.  He was in the company of Mr. Bill Paivio (Curator of the L.A.B. Museum).  We had a wonderful conversaton and as a result of that meeting I have had a personal revelation to return to the forum.

I will make every effort to once again become a contributor to the forum and hopefully over the next many weeks get to "know" those of you whom I have not yet had the chance to get to know.  I what to add a very heartfelt HELLO and THANK YOU to Kat and Steph for their precious Christmas card which is currently at the front of my "special letters" file on my bureau.  You ladies are the TOPS and I do so appreciate your thoughtfulness I feel as though I have two "sisters" in Florida.

Just got the newest L.A.B. quarterly and have begun to read it special kudos to Steph for her "Lizzie On Line" section, it looks wonderful Dr. Steph.

Well family I have run out of words for the hour, but I shall make every effort to reactiviate myself and get with the program, there are a lot of theories left to be discovered and explored.  I have missed you all so very much and well....Kat...."that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!"

Welcome back Bob.  We're still plugging along.  Haven't solved the crimes yet either but we're gaining on it.

Gee! You must be doin' something right!
Lucky man.
Rebello used to visit the Forums, I wonder if he still does?

--As on the OOPS thread--I say, "Welcome Back!"
