Today, March 1, marks three important events in the Borden murder case.

Emma's birthday, John Morse's death date, and the founding of Borden and Almy.

Also, if you noticed in the newzletter, March seems to be a month of deaths related to the case. Kat says she noticed that long ago but it just yesterday struck me as significant as I was writing the newzletter.

Happy birthday Emma! At 152, you look pretty good!

Congrats on the March Newz, Stef...interesting as always!

I've found March to be related to deaths & endings in my own life, so not so many pleasant memories for me...esp around the "IDES".

Interesting JVM died on Emma's b-day.  Wish we knew more re both of them.  It's amazing how "into" these people's lives one gets while being a Bordenite.

Joe has been looking into the Morse side of things.  I think he is almost finished.  That's something to look forward to.

Did you know that every month has "IDES"?

"Ides (the 15th day in March, May, July, and October; the 13th in the other months)."

I suppose March is a month of changes, even severe weather forecasting.
Remember "In like a lion, out like a lamb'?

Thanks, Stef, for all the March info.  I certainly didn't notice as Much as you printed!

And YEA!  Beautiful & informative Newzletter!

Was the "ides" a mid-month holiday in Roman times?
The seven day week derives from Jewish and Christian customs.
Ask a Chinese person about their customs. Or from India.
