I ran across a listing for an obituary last night.  It was for Mary Ann Girard Dube, age 100.  Born in Fall River on August 18, 1899 - Died February 25, 2000.  I am wondering if this is Mr. Dube's mom or grandmother?

Wow!  No matter whose relative she was, think of the stories that woman could have told! "If you knew Lizzie like I knew Lizzie..."
Probably not, but she likely heard lots of gossip in her time.

I've seen the name "Dube" in the old newspapers.  Like all the "Silvia"'s in the Victorian Vistas' books.  Also the place has a lot of "Rebello's" from what I gather.

I didn't know the name was so popular.  Well, when Lizzie died, Ms. Dube would have been like 28.  It's nice to wonder ...

I think there's a good reason for all the Silvias in the "Victorian Vistas" series.  Isn't that the name of the guy who compiled the books?  (Admittedly they seem to be a prominent family too.)

What happened to Mike?  We could ask him.  He would know for sure if it was a relative or not.  Mike, are you still with us?
