1. "Opins wanted"

Dearest Bordenites: as many of us know I have been absent from time to time whilst working, rather diligently, on a Masters Degree at Framingham State College here in the Bay State. Last fall I was enrolled in three classes, which for a "night" student constituted being a "full-time" student, which as nothing to do with my next line.
One of the three classes was an "online" course, part of a four course Grad Certificate in Internet Technology Proficiency, in Massachusetts this is sort of a "gold" card for teaching computer science. Anyway the final project of the course was to create a WebQuest for our students (those in the classroom of our respective school systems).
I purchased a webpage and registered my website at this address:
http://www.mrcooksclassroom.com
If I might as my fellow Bordenites to go to my website and review the contents and let me know what you think. Once you go to the website I am quite sure you will find the content very, very interesting.
Thanks so much...yours truly...Bobcookbobcook

Sourcing to the LizzieAndrewBordenVirtualMuseum & Library is a wonderful compliment. That is so cool.
Thank you and good luck to your students on their treasure hunt!

Congratulations on your unique contribution to studying the Lizzie case. We all have different talents and creating an interactive website is a wonderful way to get people interested in the case and history. And I bet a lot of fun for you too.

Thank you one and all for your honest and welcomed input. The college course required two WebQuests for the semester. For the first I chose the witch hyteria of Salem 1692 because we were doing it in the month of October/November. I came close to using the Pilgrim theme for the final but I had flashbacks of my beloved Bordenite family and couldn't resist.
In the reality of the classroom my students would hold combined group sessions (all 5 groups) to brainstorm for the final presentation. The final would be a "story board" representative of their research relative to the subject topic. Of course being in a "virtual" online college class and not "test driving" this in the real classroom I don't know how it finishes.
If you read the "Teachers Notes" you will find that I would have added many more questions for the students to research. This was for the brass ring and a grade. I might add here that I did rather well in that course. Out of a possible maximum of 416 points (for all components and quizzes) I ended the course with a 414.5. Yep, an A.
Well enough gloating...again thanks to all who have opined, as Bill O'Reilly would say...watch that website as I intend to continue the Legend of Ms. Lizzie for my future WebQuest experiences.
PS: with the assistance of a valued and trusted proof-reader from within our "family" I have made corrections and deletions to the various pages on the website. Thanks proofer...you're the tops.

Nice job Bob. That must be fun to teach a course on something that you have been personally into.
Just hope you haven't inspired another generation of hatchet murderers!
Good luck with the course.
