Here is a photo being sold as a paperweight on ebay. Could there be another image in a series or is this person messing with the image and selling it as authentic? Or is the distortion of the glass giving her this evil look? The paperweight image seems to have a lot of detail. What do you think?

Stefani, can't see the other image, just a box with a red X in it.  I think its the curvature of the glass in the first image that is playing tricks with the image.  Curious to see the second image now.

Oooohh! Lizzie looks demonic! That is scary -- that smirky
little look on her face. Yikes! I think it is the way it is
reflected in the glass -- but she sure looks evil.

I think it's the same image, but that the glass is distorting it quite a bit. Notice that the shadow of the clapboards behind Lizzie's head in the original line up the same way in the paperweight. Would the original photo been printed in Sepia?

When we talk *distort*, is it possible this paperweight view of Lizzie is more a 3-D image, or at least 2-D, because she is not flat, and so she may look more like the paperweight view, than the photograph, or dos it not work that way?

I just see a lot more detail in the paperweight image than the one I have. Now what I was thinking is that this is closer to a first generation than the one I am used to.

We know, for instance, that the FRHS's images of the case are tons better than what we are used to seeing. They take great pains to insure this, thus the images cost a lot of money to obtain.

If I am correct, then it would seem worth the price to get better images. I plan on doing some FRHS buying soon!

I think she went to the same hairdresser I use.  (I think her name is "Tish."  She's a terrible gossip.)  If Abby saw that coming at her, maybe she did die of fright.

Good post, Edisto.    I don't see too much of a difference in the photos.  They both look terrible.  I wouldn't want that on my desk lookin' at me all the time.
