Today, one year ago, we lost a wonderful friend, writer, researcher, scholar, and man-who-always-told-it-like-it-was. He is missed. Rest in peace, Terence. From the Koorey girls.

Terence, we hardly knew ye...  I take joy in reading all those old e-mails we exchanged.  Wherever you are, I hope the sun is shining on you.

Amen.

He was a true Bordenite and often gave me great advice.  I was so glad he got to see Fall River before his passing and his article on that visit in the LBQ was something that he left to all of us.

Thanks Terence.

Oh Gawd yes.  He did everything at the right time near the end!
Visited the house, flew overhead and took photo's, solved the crime in his book outline, and chased down family ties and found his roots all just in time.  He really was doing what he loved.
He was in touch with friends and family and had made his peace with everyone.  All this without one idea that he would soon be gone!
That man was in touch with his own soul.
He was a forgiving and nurturing mentor.
He is missed but lives in our memory.
Kat

I'm so happy I got to meet him; we sat for a few hours in a Starbuck's in Greenwich Village one Sunday afternoon talking about the Bordens and his projected novel.  Otherwise, we were cyber-buddies, with plenty of e-mails back and forth, and a phone call now and then.  "Ay, me!," as Shakespeare's Juliet says.
