No, it is NOT Lizzie.

Bears a slight resemblance, but there were many such cabinet cards with gals who looked 'somewhat' like lizzie. The seller is very careful to not guarantee that it is Lizzie. If you read his description he sounds like an attorney or perhaps has been given advice by one before listing it since he is asking so much.

Included with the photo is an autograph book with Andrew J Borden's signature and a poetic sentiment of advice.

If only it could be true. But hold on there :!: The seller states that the picture and autograph book will be in A BOOK. Ooooouu :!: Must be real, then :?: ....not.

The autograph book has a date of 1870. In that time there were three Andrew Bordens in Fall River, and two of them were Andrew J.

The Andrew J. Borden in the autograph book is most likely a school teacher from Fall River who lived on Bay Street in 1870. Not Andrew Borden, Lizzie's father. Hint that this seller doesn't know what he's selling.

And the chances that Lizzie would have her picture taken in Connecticut is unlikely. And the facial structure is all wrong. Plus, overall, the girl in the cabinet card has softer features. Doesn't take much to concede that it is NOT Lizzie Borden.

Listing on ebay is: https://www.ebay.com/itm/334347265847?h ... Sw~0diHYPx

Nonetheless, interesting find

I dont think that's Lizzie --- the real Lizzie's nose is not as turned up as the pix on the right. Plus this older pix of lizzie shows a rounder fatter face the other one is no prize either and her face looks longer and a bit thinner - and thats a year later.

Plus the seller said she was acquitted in 1894.
And it was similar to OJ Simpson in which they were both acquitted by a jury of their peers. - Right and LOL

Everyone's ear is as unique as a fingerprint. Lizzie has a prominent "Darwin's Tubercle" (a small bump) on the helix of her ear (circled in red). The unknown woman has no Darwin's Tubercle. CLICK THE PICTURE TO ENLARGE
Lizzies eyes are a icy light blue. The unknown has much darker shading, probably hazel or brown eyes.
My opinion: most likely NOT Lizzie A. Borden.

A. J. Borden signature in child's book is probably the Andrew Borden school teacher. The sentiment and fact that it was a child points more to a teacher rather than a grouchy old man who once pulled the heads off of pigeons.
