Chagnon House Piazza

Post by camgarsky4 »

Hi!

I've been staring at a photo of the south side of the Chagnon house (pg.153 Parallel Lives), trying to determine if the piazza/veranda/porch runs partially, completely or not at all, across front of the house. It is clear from the photo that the covered porch runs partially along the south side of house. I was going to send an email to the FRHS, but they are closed for the season.

The photo that might show the front of the Chagnon house is described below as part of the Phillips photo collection. Can anyone who has seen the Phillips collection, confirm that the photo described below does show the front and whether the covered porch ran across part of the front of the house and wasn't just a 'side' porch?

Thanks!
