A James Wixon is also listed as a member of the Fall River City Council for 1856 (Fenner: History of Fall River (1906) p. 154).

Yep, I found the Keeley Library. I can't thank them enough for publishing Fenner and Phillips and a wealth of other information. I absolutely love Fenner. It has given me some background on Fall River in the 1890's, and the politics and social going-ons at that time. I'm also using Fenner and Phillips as a kind of "Who is Who in Fall River", and it's amazing to find so many names from the Borden case pop up there!
