Lizzie Borden, Girl Detective reading at the Fall River Historical Society

Post by Richard »

I've been invited by the Historical Society to come do a book signing in August to promote my new novel.

They've offered me either August 1 or August 8. This is a hard one to call since the Anniversary is right in the middle and I'm aware that some people may not want to come out to Fall River twice in one week.

Is there anyone here on the Forum who would be interested in coming to the book signing? And if so, what dates works best for you.

It would be terrific to have it as an unofficial Mutton Eaters gathering, to make a day of it, and go out for a meal afterward like we did back in 2010 when I had my first book signing there.

Anyone?

Some of the initial feedback I'm getting is that August 1 seems to be better for most folk. I'm going to propose to FRHS to have the reading on August 1.

So excited to hear you read from your new book. I will certainly publicize it widely on my blog and Facebook pages.

I will be up there in late September. Does anyone know if The Historical Society will be open then and if there are any special events?
