Thanks for the Herald News Post Kat.

I met Ms Chaney at the Historical Society and acquired a signed copy of her book.

I found Karen Chaney very pleasant and accommodating and was happy to meet yet one more author on Lizzie Borden material at the Historical Society. I met Brown and Mr Rebello there where I had their books signed also.

Ms Chaney received quite the write up in the Herald News the Fall River Paper. The paper really ran with the story. It was the lead story and took up over half of the front page with a huge photo of the book.
I attended the signing also and she was very nice. We also discussed how rude Bob G. was. I also went into the Lizzie room there.
Every time I go there I am always amazed at looking at Abby's hairpiece
and thinking that this was actually cut off in the attack! It was also cool to
see hair from Andrew and Abby in another case and Lizzie's prison seat and pail.

I am just wondering why because someone who is a PROFESSIONAL in the area of book reviews is being labled as rude ? Bob was being honest based on his professioanl experience...AND...Ms. Cheney DID ASK for opinions on her book. I tried posting questions to her and they have yet to be answered. Several people involved with this forum have offered their MANY years of experience in researching this case as help to Ms. Cheney. Does this mean they are rude too ?

It's not the honesty that can be rude, it's the way of presenting it.

Thanks Angel.

Yes Ms.Chaney did want opinions, but Bob G. was really tearing into her.
He should have just politely pointed out some of her errors, which I admit
there were some, and give her some suggestions for her new book.
Afterall, no one is perfect.
