You're welcome! I was pleasantly surprised by it this w/e. Glad to know the local historians are on the ball...tho I found the error last summer.

Shelley---

The Copping house is for sale! (There seems to be a lot of great houses for sale lately!)

There's also a virtual tour here. It's a stunning craftsman...

Yes, lots of for sale and for rent signs all around the city. The market is saturated and it is a buyer's paradise. I went to a house sale on High St. Saturday, right across from the historical society's teahouse- three floors full of stuff in a great old Victorian which was much the worse for wear. Wish I could buy it and restore it!

Sigh!

I was thinking too---now that Maplecroft is for sale again, a virtual tour doesn't seem a lot to ask.

Does anyone know which bedrooms were available for guests at Maplecroft when it was a B & B ?

92 second street has all the bedrooms available, but the whole house is run as a B & B.

With most B & B''s the owners live in the house and have thier own bedrooms in the house. With Maplecroft being used as a residence and as a B & B, I have to wonder where the family stayed and where the guests stayed. I would assume that the family stayed in the 3 bedrooms on the second floor.

Did the guests stay in the attic rooms?
