This is the place to discuss the city and the locality of the murders and the surrounding area --- both present and past.

Wow! It looks a bit dark and eerie. Probably because of the street lights.

Thanks for the pictures!

Super photos, Stefani!

The snow can be quite beautiful but treacherous. Much like a woman!

My street looks exactly the same right now except that it doesn't have Maplecroft on it. . .

Started here about 5:00 p.m., but it's supposed to be in the 40s tomorrow so it won't be here for long.
I've met Kat and Harry and Stef, oh my!

I love the photos. I like night photos like that, you don't see too many. They make you see things so differently.

We got the same in Mystic and New London, started at 5 but was over by 6:30- just a dusting like confectioner's sugar! The icy rain and slush is coming later in the weekend. Snow always seems to add a vintage touch and soften the sounds of modern life.

Thanks for the pictures! We are covered with our first snow covering of the winter, with freezing rain coming in tomorrow, and then a chance for the same for the next four days. It is pretty, and makes even the ugliest of things pretty. Its all headed east though, so heads up out east!

I'm sure there will be more pics of snow at Maplecroft since we have 2 storms coming through which will probably cancel the Victorian House
Tour this weekend

Probably postpone until next weekend, but unfortunatly I won't be able to get it off since work will be pumping for X-mas. Mostlikely I will miss it again this year too

The latest is that the snow should be well over by 5 a.m. and a turnover to rain on the coast. I do believe we are going to be okay after all for the tour. The big snow will be well inland, northwest CT and NY state.
