This Sunday at Luther's Museum in Swansea

Post by Stefani »

Carl Becker, curator of the Swansea Historical Society, has planned a great event for this Sunday, July 12, 2009, and you are all invited.

An afternoon in the 19th Century
at the
LUTHER STORE MUSEUM
with the poetry of
The 19th Century’s Greatest American Poet

HENRY WADSWORTH LONGFELLOW

including
THE BRIDGE
and
PAUL REVERE’S RIDE

The reading will begin around 3:00 o’clock p.m.

This is opening day at the Luther Store for the Summer season, the Store should be open from 2:00 until 5:00 on Sundays in July and August

I was invited to select a poem for reading, and I chose “The Village Blacksmith.”

So I will see you all there!
