Saint Mary's and Ozzy's wife

Fall River's Saint Mary's Cathedral is in the news. Saint Mary's is the Catholic Church right around the corner from 92 Second Street. Apart from the Fall River City Hall Bell it was the Bells of Saint Mary's that Lizzie would have also heard in perpetual order. It was also Bridget Sullivan's church.

In the news the star is Saint Mary's. For the forum it is Sharon Osbourne, and for yours-truly, it's Stefani Koorey, the administrator of this forum.

Recently Sharon Osbourne visited Fall River where a TV show in England filmed her visit to Saint Mary's where Sharon's great grandmother was a parishioner .

She was accompanied by Stefani Koorey who was the Fall River Historian for the BBC production.

Stefani, thank you for helping Sharon find her family ties to Fall River, and reporting your findings to the Herald News. BTW, that is a neat picture of you and Sharon.

I find it interesting that Sharon Osbourne’s great-grandmother was born in Fall River, on Aug. 17, 1868; Lizzie would have been 8 years old at that time. I wonder if Lizzie knew or knew of Hannah “Annie” O’Donnell.

I found the Herald News article interesting, but very sad.

That's cool!
I was just watching the TV show called "The Osbornes Want To Believe" (in the paranormal), and she and Ozzy mention her interest in her ancestors and what she found out by coming here, to their son Jack who runs the show. She was very moved by the whole thing, and for once Ozzy seemed sensitive to that.
