We missed this auction for an original copy of Lizzie Borden's indictment. The auction was held June 28.
: ....... while another curiosity is Lizzie Borden’s two page grand jury indictment, one of only a few copies printed and signed in 1892 by the Superior Court clerk, found among the papers of one of the principles in the case (est. $5/7,000). Although ultimately acquitted of murder charges, Borden remains one of the great villains of the 19th century."
