Young Lizzie Photo on E-Bay?

Post by Mark A. »

Where do people come up with these things? These two people couldn't be further Lizzie & Abby. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 52226&rd=1

Funny one Mark. They look as much like Lizzie and Abby as you and I do.

Elizabeth and Abigail? Irish descent? Pshaw, I say.

And hasn't anybody told the seller about internet etiquette concerning capital letters. Geeez.

The seller says she wanted to keep the photograph but it freaked out her daughter.

I wonder if that's why she's also getting rid of the Leatherface Sideshow 12" Texas Chainsaw Massacre figure that shows up when you "view this seller's other items"?

Yes, it certainly was loud there!
I'm not even going to "Save" this picture to put a moustache on.

Thanks for the laugh, Mark, I could use it. My parked car was the victim of a hit and run today and its been bugging me all day. I've started to feel better about it a couple of hours ago and now could use all the laughs I can get!

Susan, That sucks! I know the feeling. I spent a nice summer's day at the Roger Williams Park-Zoo last year and when I returned to my minivan, it was keyed on every door, fender, and painted part on the vehicle! I was pissed. I am now a firm believer that in the end, bad people get theirs. look for the silver lining. It could have been worse. You could have been getting in or out of the car when it was hit so count your blessings.

Yeah, like Lizzie would be wearing a picture of Abby! Well, the frame's pretty.
Susan, so sorry about your car! But Mark's right, at least you weren't hurt!

So Sorry about your car ! Glad you are ok though. My truck got keyed last January...just a week after it had been painted ! Must have been a kid who did not get a good grade in science class.

A pox upon all car vandals! Sorry for all of your experiences and very sad that it could happen at Roger Williams. I love that park.

Kat, please put a mustache on Lizzie and Abby O'Borden. It might cheer Susan up. The Leatherface seller must never have seen pictures of either one. Nor must she have noticed that Abby looks remarkably close to Lizzie's age, not at all the age and size she would have been by that time. Does she really think that Lizzie and Abby were rare names in the Taunton area? Brother! Hope she doesn't find a sucker.

Oh, thank you, Kat! It's so much better. I don't think you should feel bad. The one who should be ashamed is the eBay merchant.

I don't feel bad. I wouldn't have moustached them if I did- I am sorry for their E-bay career- and you're right- I have naught to do with that. Do you think they ever woulda thunk?

Thanks for the new laugh, Kat! Seems most of the damage to my car door is superficial, just rubber and plastic deposit on top of the paint surface, my sweetie examined it for me, I was too sick at heart to take a closer look. My cars a Saturn, so, the door panel probably just bent went they hit it and popped back out again. If it had been regular metal, I would have a big dent. But, my car was moved like 3 feet back out of the space it was parked in and my drivers side window doesn't go down all the way now, it makes a horrible grinding sound when you crank it down towards the bottom, it sounds like it might break or something, so, I don't want to push it. So many jerks in this world that just don't care about others.
