A couple of months ago I watched The Older Sister for the first time. What I found rather funny was how Lizzie looked ten years older than Emma in the show.

Thanks for the heads up Stefani, alas I do not have a ipod that plays movies. The first three minutes is on YouTube but that is it. Maybe I will be able to find a copy 2nd hand or at a video store.

DWilly, Lizzie IS "The Older Sister" in this version. What's more fun is that Hitchcock's closing remarks refer to the original end of the play, which showed Lizzie slamming the axe into an end table after hearing a neighborhood urchin singing the quatrain. At some point after Hitch filmed his closing (he'd go in and shoot a bunch of his bits for many shows in a day) the script was softened to show Lizzie simply sitting with her cat on the "murder sofa."

I bought mine from someone who just had that one episode on a video tape. It was taped off of tv, but I had never seen it before and I wasn't gonna complain. It was like five bucks.

Some day, by popular demand, the episode may be sold by itself on DVD.
Thanks for telling us which disc it's on!
