Who is fooling who? If it was the real deal, get the facts straight and all the background on the item. Otherwise why bother to fabricate a story? The person that will pay top dollar for this item will know if it is an authentic item.
I am very curious as to why the seller would not have a good clear photo of the inside cover of the watch where the inscription is, I would think that this would make the watch more credible as the real deal, If in fact it was Lizzie Bordens watch, Very interesting.
Of course it is worth a certain amount for being a gold watch. If it was Lizzie's watch then I could only guess at its real value. I might bid on it but I don't know if I have the time.

Whenever a timepiece goes up for sale I always am reminded of that *Borden Mantle Clock* with (possible) actual blood spots on it that had been put up for auction!

The file says November 15, 2003 that the pics were first *saved.* Stefani must have saved them first because my file on this same computer says October 2005.
