Look again at the auction history!
I did bid and was outbid. Looking at the feedback of the person who outbid me I sent a message to the seller asking them if they would sell it to me at my $20 bid if the other buyer failed to honor the bid.
Here is a copy paste of the response I got which leads me to believe they have mass produced them
Question for item #5533234234 - Victorian Lizzie Borden Took An Axe Creepy Poster
That's fine. Do you want to buy one? I will give you a Buy it now type price.
Send $14.99 plus 4.50 shipping for a total of $19.49 to
BDP
P.O. Box 363
Astoria, OR 97103
we do not take PayPal but can take Visa or MC by phone at 503-325-4818
Now I do not know what to think!

Sure sounds that way to me too.
Why would they offer it to you at $14.99 when you already offred to pay $20? Something is not quite right.
Maybe the lead bidder is a shill and doesn't really exist except for the purpose of driving up the price.
Be careful also with giving your credit card info over the phone. I won't do that unless I know the company or person. And sending money to a P.O. box doesn't thrill me either.

I do a fair amount of shopping via ebay and only use money orders. I never use my CC via pay pal or any other source. I also do not send checks.
I never thought about sending MO's to PO boxes as being a risk-- but you are right.
I no longer want the poster. I think I would have been disappointed in it had I won the auction!

Audrey,
I don't think you would have a problem with this poster purchase at the "Buy it Now" price. It is a mass produced print and I'm sure they have multiple copies of it. Many "Buy it Now" items are that way. You can win it at a lower price at auction, but if you "Buy it Now" they just send you one.
Still, if you feel safer not dealing with these folks, certainly don't.
It is a pretty neat poster, though.
