The Johnstown Flood

Just finished watching a Discovery channel show on the Johnstown flood which occurred on May 31, 1889, 116 years ago.

That was indeed a tragedy, some 2200 people being killed.

Such a contrast to the peaceful postcards of that era.
I know I ask perfection of a quite imperfect world
And fool enough to think that's what I'll find

Whenever we visited PA and Ohio, relatives always talked about that!
