Ran across this website which has a lot of similarities to the Borden house.

Neat info, Harry. I love the bit about "Floral carpets were all the rage." The Bordens sure had that nailed.

Thank you, Harry.

Patterned rugs will not show dirt or stains like a plain color design.
It was Farmer William in the Bedroom with the Hatchet.

Thanks Har!
At the very bottom of the page it says:
"Some material borrowed from The Victorian House Coloring Book by Kristin Helberg, 1980."

I have that book. Stefani gave it to me!

The same company publishes a cut out Victorian house with furniture, even paper rugs. Everything can be colored with marking pens and it looks pretty good when all put together. A Victorian Seaside Resort is also in the series. If you have the time and patience, it looks great as an under the Christmas tree village. Does anyone here decorate Victorian or collect Victorian furnishings?
