They do seem VERY adept at copy/pasting Kat's work.... And who know's what and who elses. check here: http://groups.msn.com/CrimeLibrary/lizz ... 0598599738

It appears that permission was NOT given for them to post Kat's work there! They have photos and other resources there as well. I am not certain if they are 'public domain' or not....

I would hate to see Stef have to watermark all the photos available here with her copyright!

Harry's work is there as well! No permission given!

I just checked and it says the group page has been disabled for "Administrative Purposes" or something.

Maybe we should all copywrite our stuff.

It is still inoperative due to administrative stuff.

I never knew about this Forum before. Thank you, Audrey.

Generally anything you write is automatically copyrighted as soon as you finish it. Books you wanna register and get them copyrighted. Magazine articles show your copyright.

I don't know where Forum postings come in. You would think people would use common sense and not nab someone else's actual work from another Forum.

I wonder why people who posted like Kat's or Harry's stuff didn't just post to come to this Forum and see the item?

Perhaps they were the "residue" left over from that short-lived copy-cat site from 3 years ago?
Thanks for telling about their (well-deserved?) fate.

That sounds like a real possibility, RayS. They are still "unavailable" today. Maybe they won't be back. I would have liked to have seen it before it was pulled. But I'm glad others' work is off of there.

Sad when people can't think of their own ideas, and resort to copying others. Sheesh!
