Dead Tired

Post by Susan »

For all of us followers of the Borden case, I found a site that carries pillow slips that just scream "Lizzie" or at least might just make you scream. The set in question is called Dead Tired, one slip has a print of a bloody hatchet on it. The other has a blood stain. You can check them out here, sweet dreams:

Good heavens- now I've seen it all! Would probably be a hit at the B&B.

Unbelievable! Although the slip with a print of a bloody hatchet on it is right up our ally, isn't it?

Has anyone thought of Bedford cord jammies and a Prince Albert robe?

Well, I guess depending on your views, a set of those pillow slips in the guest/John Morse room might be a creepy or cool addition. I wonder if they would go over big if they were offered for sale in the gift shop?

Oh, they would go over big in the gift shop. No doubt. I don't think they would be appropriate in the Morse room- or any of the rooms actually. I sort of like to see the house unadorned by kitch and campy-ness and as close to period as they can allow, considering people need some modern conveniences.
