with a reference # after- 35459- now what do I do?

Thanks. I got the question but so far no reply?
Our William did an article on the "Carvings" at Maplecroft in the LBQ, Winter, 1995 issue, front page.
He states he checked all kinds of libraries and could not find the author of that sequence.
I think it is in Lizzie's original bedroom, and not in the room she had built for herself later on- therefore Bill said in the article that the carving could
possibly have come with the house.

Has anyone found out where this carving comes from? It sounds like part of a poem. I've looked all over, too, and can't find a source. What book are you talking about?
