Actor Robert Blake is currently on house arrest.

Considering the preferential treatment she received in Jail I would say yes.

The severity of the crimes would weigh heavily against her.
On the other hand she's not a flight risk.
Just thinking out loud.

I voted no.
I hadn't really thought about house arrest before. Good question.
My feeling is 10 months in jail, treated well by her friend, Mrs. Wright- that is the only State-sanctioned punishment Lizzie got for the crime.
(She had to be at the least, accessory-after-the-fact.)

Although I voted yes, I wonder if her being jailed in Taunton was not a protection for her in a way. If what I believe was true she might have been in danger if she had been easily accessible.

She was acquitted!

Does that mean whatever *threat* was there was removed by June? Or do you think Lizzie continued to be in danger?

I think she continued to be in danger, although I think the intensity of the threat diminished as time went by. I do believe she was "watched" closely and she knew it.

Was Emma also in danger? Does this have any bearing on their split?

The Jelly Roll recipe should be in "Lizzie Borden Living" magazine.

Audrey,
I honestly don't know enough about either Lizzie or Martha to do either of them justice, even in a spoofy way.
Feel free to run with the idea yourself. There were some good suggestions posted in the other thread.
