BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - Ray Charles, the Grammy-winning crooner who blended gospel and blues in such crowd-pleasers as "What'd I Say" and heartfelt ballads like "Georgia on My Mind," died Thursday, a spokesman said. He was 73.

Speaking of RR.... Although I have never been a big fan of Nancy's I certainly do admire her strength and composure during these last few days. (Not to mention her devotion to him during his illness)
I saw on television when they arrived at AFB and she was so frail and sad looking holding that man's arm who escorted her. I cried for her....

I think the *Beautiful Blonde* may have been Mrs. Shand-Kydd, Diana's mother. I just heard of her burial!
She was the grandmother of Princes William & Harry:
