Thanks for asking.
It's Charlie we are worried about.

Haulover is not out of the woods from either storm as well.

OH yes...Haulover...I am sorry negelected to mention you. How are the storms treating you ? I know how to deal with earthquakes...but hurricane stuff is really scary to me ! I am keeping close watch on the NOAA website. I am sending you calm, clear, sunny thoughts. Keep us posted on what's happening.

We did have a storm several years ago just miss us and was on it's way to Atlanta. We had a brother living there then and I called him, knowing he would have no idea a storm was due to hit. I told him the time it was due and told him to be safe. He called me in the middle of the night. A huge branch had fallen thru his roof! He was standing in his living room,in his apartment on the top floor, saying to me "Guess what I am looking at? The sky!"

I asked him jokingly wasn't that nice that at least I gave him about 4 hours notice of something he did not know was happening? He replied no because it still took out his living room and rained on his furniture!
We joke about this now.

no problem here from either storm.

i know that year kat refers to -- that was the tailend of some hurricane (i can't remember which) - and amounted to a windstorm. my house was not touched, but every other one had a tree sticking in it.

it is frightening to hear cracking and crashing all around in the dark -- it isn't coming from any place in particular just everywhere.

Has anyone heard from either Kat or Stef since all this went down? I just managed to get back on the board & don't see any posts from them. I've also sent emails & they haven't replied. Let's hope it's nothing worse than the electricity being out.

Thank you!
Stef just got Internet late today and found she had a couple of dozen E-mail- or did she say 248?

Hey William, how did your meterological experiments work out?
