MB, your thought of what 5 people you would like to have lunch with, is an intriguing one, for sure. I have tried to think of 5 people I would like to have lunch with, and for the life of me, I can only come up with people who have passed away! Who have you come up with so far?

Good to see you posting again, Franz.
I don’t think Zsa Zsa respected any man, handsome or ugly, rich or poor. It is obvious from her following quotes, that her greatest love was money.
“I never hated a man enough to give him his diamonds back.”
“I am a marvelous housekeeper. Every time I leave a man, I keep his house.”
“I want a man who’s kind and understanding. Is that too much to ask of a millionaire?”
Granted her quotes may have been said to obtain a laugh, but the theme of her quotes never changed.

I’m not a big country music fan, either, but there are a few country singers whom I enjoy listening to, and Josh Turner happens to be one of them. I agree, he is a very good looking guy, but then he is only 39 years old.
What I like about Josh is his deep voice. I got hooked on his voice when I first heard him sing
Long Black Train.

True! Josh Turner is still young. When you are young, half of handsome and beautiful is measured by your age. An ordinary plain 20-something has a great advantage in looks over a good looking 60-something. Half of beauty is age. Not in all cases. Some, like Robert Redford and Tom Selleck can hold on to their good looks well into mature age. Then you take someone like Cristy Brinkley.......well there's just something freakish about that gal. No one looks that good at 62.

I agree, Christie Brinkley is freakishly vain about her looks. She has always been an attractive women, but I can guarantee that she did not obtain the looks she has at the age of 62, through the natural aging process. Yes, she has her own anti-aging skincare system line, which she claims helps her to maintain that youthful look, but don’t kid yourself, the major reason for her fantastic looks were obtained through several cosmetic surgeries.

I agree, there are young-looking sixty year olds, for sure. Maybe I'm being too critical, but I just find it bizarre that Christie Brinkley appears to be 42 years younger than her chronological age. I don’t know who said that "60 is the new 40", but Christie’s appearance is saying: "62 is the new 20"!

Boy Twins. Are we morbid or is it something else.
One of my favorite all time musicians died just the other day. Greg Lake of Emerson, Lake, and Palmer.
Just today John Wetton died.
He collaborated with Greg Lake on a lot of music. Both of them played with King Crimson. Both had dynamic voices. (sounded somewhat alike) John Wetton was mostly known for his time with a group called ASIA, which Lake also played for, taking Wetton's place on tour. (though Lake played lead and Wetton was primarily bass guitar)
Below was probably Wetton's biggest hit when he was with ASIA. For those who do not not know the man, you will remember the song.

Personally, I think we have reached the age where life’s realities are being fully realized and it has finally sunk into our brains that life really is short, and our time on earth may be up sooner than we have previously thought.
