Earl Grey Tea~medicinal?

Post by irina »

I decided to look up whether or not an Earl Grey invented Earl Grey tea. Maybe, maybe not, possibly or probably. Anyway at the end of the wiki article it mentioned that the bergamot oil in Earl Grey tea is similar to grapefruit rind and could affect medications that are affected by grapefruit. Well, that's just Wikipedia so I decided to dig a little deeper since I practically crave a couple cups of the stuff every day.

I didn't find any serious health warnings but did find an interesting recent article. So decided to practice attaching attachments here. Where better to post than "Stay to Tea"? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/health/healt ... 732973/... ; A Cup of Earl Grey as Good as Statins at Fighting Heart Disease Study Finds, 9/6/2014

I probably did it wrong but I'll see what happens...
