TV show: Welcome to Maplecroft

Post by MysteryReader »

I don't know if this is the correct area for it but who has seen "Welcome to Maplecroft?" It was on TNT yesterday and I only caught the last 5 minutes of it. All I can tell you from what I saw was that Lizzie was killing everyone. At first glance, she was being hunted by a blonde woman (don't know who she was but could have been Nance) and she was strangled by Lizzie (well they fought and blondie stabbed Lizzie, who knocked her down the stairs and she was killed when her temple struck something metal).

Then the police arrest some male who shows up just in time to see blondie topple down the stairs. I don't know who he was. The for the last 2 minutes, Lizzie is holding an ugly dog while pouring out a clear flammable liquid. She's questioned by an older woman dressed for bed and Lizzie tips over the lamp, which lights the liquid and electrocuting/burning the woman.

I've not seen an advertisement for that show here on the board or on TV.

Mystery, I believe the show Welcome to Maplecroft is Season1, Episode 4, of The Lizzie Borden Chronicles. The show can be viewed here:

Is this the show you saw? If so, there are several threads regarding The Lizzie Borden Chronicles on our forum, although the Seasons and Episodes have not been indicated that I know of:

Thanks, Twins! It didn't say it was part of the Lizzie Borden Chronicles :-) so I wasn't sure. Yes, that is it. So sorry. The picture of her holding the dog and touching the lamp was the last thing I saw.

You're welcome, Mystery. There is no need for you to feel bad or to be sorry, because how are any of us to know that these shows are a part of the Lizzie Borden Chronicles if it is not stated as such?

I gave up watching the Lizzie Borden Chronicles, because I don't find an over the top, blood and gore show at all entertaining.
