Villisca Murders

Post by MysteryReader »

I know that the above has been mentioned before. I just checked out a book from the library, titled "The Man From the Train," written by Bill James. He solved the identity of the killer. That family was just one of thousands, apparently. The murderer struck from Florida to Washington State, and back again. People were condemned and killed for his crimes and others, were the victims of lynch mobs. When I know more, such as who dunit, I'll let you know.

There was a question of the killer's identity, I think on here.

How was the book? Interesting theory that Paul Mueller was responsible. This case has always interested me. I'm leaning towards Moore's former disgruntled business partner, Frank Jones, as the culprit. Have read Josiah Moore was hit with the blade many times while the rest of the family and Stillinger girls were bludgeoned with the back of the axe head.
