Documentary on Jessica Chambers murder
Twins tipped me off about the documentary on Oxygen regarding the murder of Jessica Chambers. (Twins, I hope the emails I sent you were to a current address ) I can't thank you enough for reminding me of this as we would've missed it otherwise. The show on Oxygen was so good that we watched it again online. This gets a serious thumbs-up recommendation for lovers of gruesome murder mysteries which is pretty much everyone here at Lizzie Borden. Now it's understandable why the jury could not reach a unanimous verdict. I was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer in January and finally finished chemo almost two weeks ago, so I sit here scratching my hairless head wondering how the State of Mississippi plans to retry and convict a man named Quinton who passed a lie detector test after the victim clearly identified her killer as "Eric" as per EMTs and firefighters at the scene, all who heard the same name except one who said it could've been Eric or Derek. I hope Oxygen follows the new trial as it unfolds... and if this topic has another home on Lizzie, I'll gladly move my comment. Hi to Everyone after a long, long hiatus... and especially to Judy!!

Saw this advertised, but unfortunately missed the first two episodes. I hope to watch this Saturday's offering. Sounds addictive, like the recent series on Darlie Routier.

Yes, I did receive your emails.
I apologize for not replying to this post before this, but as you know from my last email, my son passed away. My husband and I still have several things to take care of yet, but we are hanging in there.
You're welcome for the reminder of this documentary. The thing I like about this show being on the Oxygen channel, is that it is shown several times on Saturday, and I have caught it being shown on other days, as well. (Watch your listing for when each episode is repeated.) I agree, this documentary get a huge thumbs up from me. It is much better than I thought it would be. There are a lot of details that I didn’t know, so I am really intrigued with each of the episodes.
I will post my thoughts on Quinton Tellis' second trial when I reply to Misty's post.
I want to thank you for starting a new topic for the Oxygen channels documentary on the killing of Jessica Chambers. I have been posting the Google Alerts for Jessica Chambers and Quinton Tellis in the thread titled, Cases similar to this one?. However, I like having the Oxygen Channel documentaries in a thread of its own.

Cindy: Oxygen.com has a web site where you can watch all of the previous episodes. Just click on the episode you want to see. NOTE: For whatever reason, I am not able to watch the previous episodes with my Internet Explorer browser, therefore, I have to switch to my Firefox browser in order to watch them.

Re: Documentary on Jessica Chambers murder
Yes, two trials and still no conviction. District Attorney John Champion is 100 % sure that Quinton Tellis killed Jessica Chambers, so I have to wonder why he can not convince all the members of the jury, beyond reasonable doubt, that Quinton is the perpetrator. I have to wonder what the members of the jury, who are not convinced of his guilt, find reasonable doubt with.
We have stated many times how badly the Borden murders were handled, but I'm afraid the Jessica Chambers' murder case is going to top the Borden case, hands down!
Do you think there will be a third trial?

Re: Documentary on Jessica Chambers murder
Well, after seeing the last two episodes, I have to conclude that Quinton Tellis is NOT GUILTY. I can't believe that District Attorney John Champion is shifting around the cell phone evidence to fit his theory, and then wonders why the trial ends in a hung jury. Jeeez, is he serious? I have no doubt in my mind that the prosecution is trying to convict the wrong man.
